A site where you can take your "leanwashing" concerns

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

For someone who regularly screeds (not a verb, but oughta be) about the evils of advertisers, I should have been all over leanwashingindex.com, an Austin-based reader-interactive site that evaluates marketers’ health claims.

But until I met Dr. Stephen Pont, medical director of the Texas Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Childhood Obesity and an adviser to the index, last weekend, I’d not heard of it. The index, which has been around since March, is a creation of EnviroMedia Social Marketing, whose founders Valerie Davis and Kevin Tuerff, previously created the greenwashing index.

I haven’t submitted an ad for consideration yet, but I expect I will, given my need to screed.
